(Angel, Buffy, Xander, Willow, Kennedy, Giles, Dawn, Spike)

Angel set the controls to auto-pilot and looked behind him at the seated individuals, the guests on a bus that had seen too much. "Alright, we are on now, what I believe to be the equivalent of a highway. Take this time to look at the pretty images and take pictures, do keep the windows closed however. We might not be in the land of the dead yet, but the energy out there could prove to be disastrous to your hands." Angel unbuckled and began to check in on one person in particular.

The young woman hardly met his look, but she seemed to know he was there because she scooted aside. Taking a seat beside her Angel felt the bus vibrate as it made a turn. Steepling his hands together he let out a worn out sigh. He hated traveling on a packed bus, not enough room to brood. Looking back over the head of the seat he noticed Spike and Buffy in the back. The two seemed to be talking, so he looked elsewhere. Patting the girls hand he spoke quietly to her.

"Don't worry, the bus knows where it is going...I hope. Anyway, I imagine we won't need your wicca power on this one. I hope nothing magical will be needed, we meet this client, do whatever it is we need to, then simply head out. You see the red head over there?" Angel pointed over to Willow. "She is the main wicca I told you about, the best there is. You can get some pointers from her later if you want Jocelyn. Now relax, enjoy the trip."

Angel grinned before getting up and heading up to check on the bus's progress. The bright spectral like colors made shapes and he held his hand to block most of the light. They seemed to be doing well, and it was 5 minutes past the time they left. Taking his seat he placed his hands behind his head.

*Buffy’s nerves were making everything around her seem amplified somehow. Energy crackled around her like static as she followed Spike onto the bus. She saw a girl she didn’t recognise out of the corner of her eye, and she had time to vaguely wonder who she was and why she was here, before she followed Spike to the back seat. Grateful that he had chosen a seat fairly far away from the others, Buffy shot him a grateful smile as she sunk onto the seat beside him. Taking his hand in hers, she held it gently on her lap, squeezing it without realising as Angel started up the bus and they were off.

Buffy had never been one to be good with science or maths, or anything that required big words and too much reading. As such, she didn’t understand how their faithful school bus that had managed to bring them out of hell and ruin and into Angel’s sanctuary had somehow been transformed into a vehicle that could take them across time and space. But the truth of the matter was, she really didn’t care. The thought of seeing her mother again was more than she could bear. Part of her, most of her really, didn’t want to see her mother. If she didn’t see her, then she could continue on with the belief that she was safe and happy up in heaven. Of course she would be disappointed not to see her, as the thought of perhaps talking to her, or even holding her for a brief moment had been enough for Buffy’s heart to stop beating for a moment. But it was a disappointment she could deal with if it meant that her mother was not stuck wandering around some dimension for the dead. Buffy shivered at the thought, and was grateful for Spikes body beside her on the seat. Without saying anything, she shuffled over closer to him and snuggled against him. She didn’t need words right now, just to have him close to her was comfort enough in itself.

With her head resting on Spike’s shoulder, Buffy looked down towards where Dawn was sitting on her own. Buffy’s heart ached to think what thoughts must be racing around her head and she made the mental note to spend some one on one time with her as soon as she was in a good place mentally herself. Sighing deeply, Buffy raised her head and smiled softly up at Spike.

~I’m worried about Dawn… she’s so alone.. so cut off… It’s what she does, I know, but still… ~ she shrugged her shoulders, her brow furrowing with concern for her sister.

Buffy looked up as Angel stood up and said something about auto pilot. She smiled weakly at his lame attempt at a joke before she watched him go and sit next to the same girl she had noticed on her way onto the bus. So that was why she was here – she obviously knew Angel. Arching a brow slightly, Buffy then shrugged and thought to herself “so what?” before she lowered her head back onto Spikes shoulder. Aching to feel his arms around her, she murmured.

~You take the photos for me okay Spike? I’m sure they will make great mementos for our scrapbook back home.. my camera just seems broken.~ And with that she closed her eyes, breathing in his scent as the motion of the bus threatened to lull her to sleep. *

Xander looked out the window of the moving bus, wearing some of the new clothes that Willow had bought. He’d done his hair and washed and shaved… ok so he may be heading to some land of the dead but that didn’t mean he couldn’t look his best in the event he managed to see Ahn. He would have bought some flowers or something but there wasn’t time, or money, or knowledge of where one would buy flowers for their sexy dead-but-hopefully-not-permanently-dead girlfriend. He’d managed to make sure that the seat beside him was empty, on the off chance that Anya was there and he could bring her back, the million to one long shot that he got to keep her, to save her from the dead place.

He twitched nervously in his seat, he wanted the trip to be over. He looked around the bus, it seemed so odd that the bus was driving itself, if he’d of known about the auto-pilot function he could have grieved a little better instead of being the driver from hellmouth. He drummed his fingers on his arm, the stress of the drive was insane, knowing he was so close to seeing his Anya again was driving him batty, his dreams weren’t enough, he knew he was so close to getting to see the real thing that he was both insanely happy and insanely worried, that his hope to see her again would be shattered if she wasn’t there.

He bit his bottom lip, the trip seemed to take forever but he didn’t want to use the cliché… he refused to. He wouldn’t. He couldn’t. He must’nt. He shouldn’t “Are we there yet?” he did. He kicked himself for being so cliché to use such a crappy corny line as that but it suited. He wanted to be there soon, cos the sooner he got there the sooner he might be able to see Anya.

*Willow looked up in surprise as Giles approached and handed her a spell book. Nodding and smiling at him, she watched him walk past her as he took a seat behind her. Arching a slender auburn brow at Kennedy, Willow shrugged as she opened the book and flipped the pages to Chapter Four. A few minutes later, she turned around and grinned at Giles.

~Good work Giles! These seem relatively easy, but effective nonetheless. I should be able to work them pretty quickly, though I hope they aren’t necessary.~

She shivered at the thought of needing protection spells in a realm that was comprised entirely of the dead. Gazing at Giles, she wondered if he was dreaming of seeing Jenny again. Of course he was, she thought, despite his obvious attempt at trying to look busy by turning his attention back to the book on his lap.

Turning back around to face the front of the bus, Willow smiled as Angel joked around at the front of the bus before taking a seat next to a girl Willow had never seen before. Just like her “gaydar”, Willow also had a “witchdar” and could sense that this girl was a fellow Wiccan. Nudging Kennedy with her elbow, Willow pointed to the girl sitting beside Angel and said in a low whisper

~Looks like Angel has got himself a new witchy friend.. should I be jealous babe?~ She grinned to show she was joking, before she looked past Kennedy and out the window as Angel had suggested. She couldn’t realy see much of anything, truth be told – just a lot of debris hurtling past the bus. Wait.. was that a cow???

Willow turned around quickly in her seat, trying to see if the object she had thought was a cow was still in her line of vision, but it was gone. Shrugging her shoulders, Willow glanced over at Kennedy.

~If we see Dorothy and Toto go wizzing by, I definitely gotta pop into Oz and see those munchkins. I always loved those little guys! She rolled her eyes and laughed as Xander finally succumbed to what must have been his own personal inner battle and asked “Are we there yet?” Unable to resist joining in, Willow squirmed in her seat and called out in a whiny voice.

~If we aint there yet, can we at least make a pit stop on the way? Cause I gotta peeeeeee…~ *

Kennedy fidgeted a bit in her seat as the bus flew into the sky. Again it reminded her of back to the future part 2, the ride was a tad bumpy, and even with all the colors outside, she felt better if she had a seat belt. With her hands in her lap she closed her eyes, I am not motion sickness, she thought, this is just like the plane trip from New York to...oh hell, this is just too much. Biting her bottom lip she opened her eye lids slowly and looked over at Willow. She was holding tight the book that Giles had given her on his way to his seat.

The book was quite heavy and seemed to cover up Willow's legs, the contents of which she couldn't begin to fathom. Instead she merely leaned her head back and looked over at the girl Angel had sat next to. For a minute there she had thought they might be more then friends, colleagues, but instead it drifted to just aquantences. Another wicca on the bus, that was weird. Kennedy didn't comment much on that, not unless Willow herself brought it up. Which of course speak of the mind's surprises, Willow was turning to her.

Feeling the soft jab of her elbow Kennedy directed her attention once more to the girl. She was a tad shy, and right off the bat Kennedy knew she was gay. It was just something about her, while most girls carried themself well, she was shying away from attention, not looking at anyone, though she did glance over to see who Angel was talking about. She didn't comment on the girl's sexuality, sort of leave it hanging, though she needn't say much, just the look Willow wore told her that. She wasn't bad looking, but she had her witch, let someone else get lucky.

Kennedy smirked as she said that. "I think the two know each other, but so far no signs of jealousy should be going off. You are Angel's main witch, the one he turns to, you were the one after all that helped him in L.A. Face it Willow, when danger is afoot, your the one to call. I will say this much for her, she doesn't carry herself so well. Maybe you should teach her a few pointers on proper sitting posture, oh and magic, I can't picture her being all witchy."

Kennedy observed the girl while Willow was trying to look out the window. Strange patterns of light shifted into different shapes as the bus sped along through the high way. It wouldn't surprise her if they met some company along the way. Maybe a haggard like old woman on a bike and a pointed nose. Oh...what about a symphony of mickey mouse, goofy, and a cow, no wait...that was a old disney cartoon. Shaking her head she tried not to think too much on the storm enveloping their flight.

Kennedy smiled as Willow made reference to the wizard of oz. That film was great, and the little people Willow spoke of, they were about as heart filled as the Lion was. "I agree, a little tour of the emerald city would do me well, and meeting the wizard himself, I wonder what I need?" Kennedy heard Xander complain, and had to agree. Most people here were anxious, and pleasantries was hardly on everyone's minds right now, though Buffy seemed quite comfortable back there with her vampire.

"I'm hungry," Kennedy half whined and held her stomach. It was fun to join in on the fun. Angel merely half looked up, his face trying to hide the amusement of having a bus filled with complaining young adults.

Giles looked up from his book as Willow addressed him, he knew his concern over her using the magic was fruitless and ill-founded but still the ease she did spells with did on occasions scare him,. He had deduced that it was most likely the spell she had performed as they were fleeing for their lives that had turned their current form of transport that they were travelling in into a magical bus, he refused to think of it as the Magic School Bus as Xander had so wittingly referred to it because then he’d have that blasted theme tune ghoing through his head and it would come out for hours. “Well only perform them if absolutely needed Willow, some of them are rather extreme and you know how I worry about you and the more potent magics” he trusted her but he worried

He flicked through his book, not finding anything of any major use, all the information he had on this land of the dead was second hand accounts and speculation based on random visions, but no concrete information except for one Latin phrase that he was busy translating.

Quae eo ire itum phasma phasmatis itineris cautum
Monumentum infectus itaque malus peior pessimus recubo illic
Illae ille carus mortuus sumus absentis consulo aetas
Illi quisnam hac praesumo exsisto praeparo consulo insanio

He did not get it, he was tired and his Latin, though certainly not rusty, was the last thing on his mind. His thoughts were on their destination, this land of the dead intrigued him no end, and the thought that he might be able to see his long departed love Jenny had made his intellect depart rather suddenly. He turned to Mirabell who he had brought with them just in case she was needed. “Mirabell, you did bring a copy of Ancient Romanian Folklore from 1932 did you? That might have something of use” he had long ago learned that the stories of folklore were often more useful in these circumstances than any textbook would normally be.

He heard Xander yell that childish phrase, and Willow joining him, he scoffed a light laugh, those two never had grown up. “Really children, this is a serious mission… although I am getting bored when are we getting there?” he said pointedly to Angel, the suspense was killing him. He looked back at his book and finally he finished his translation “Oh oh oh…I think I have something… I think, it’s a strange poem about this place, it’s not a perfect translation but here’s what I’ve got…

Those who travel the ghost roads beware
Memories darkened and evil lie there
Those dearly departed are missing for an age
For those who here venture be ready for rage”

He looked around the bus “Well that’s rather ominous”

((OOC: Mirrabell can post after me, if that is Ok with everyone))

Still sitting in a corner all by herself she sighed. Everyone was off with their little loving couples. Buffy was of course in the back cuddling with spike or probaby making out like they usually did. Willow most likely snuggling with Kennedy and thinking about the new witch that arrived on the bus that is a friend of Angel's. As for Xander he was most likely preparing a speech for what he would say and do when he say Anya today. Of course that is if and when she would even come back right. She remembered buffy and spike telling her that people always have a chance of coming back wrong.

Which then got Dawnie thinking about whether or not Tara would have a chance to come back. She wasn't killed by mystical forces so for all she knew she would come back with blood all over her chest from that gunshot wound. Biting her bottom lip she gazed back at Buffy and seemed to make eye contact. Not smiling at all or anything. Just gave Buffy a blank stare so she knew that she wasn't all in perks with a good attitude. Not that she was mad at Buffy she just wasn't in all sure how to come to terms with everything that was about to happen.

Thoughts of Tara and Joyce surrounded her. What would she say to them? she didn't really know at all what to say. You can't just really say hi I missed you. Well I guess you could but that's not the greatest thing you could say if a loved one died. Inside Dawn felt like she wanted to have a long talk with Tara and her mother alone but she knew everyone would want some alone time also with them. She wasn't even sure if she knew Kennedy wanted Willow to talk to Tara if the opportunity came around.. Glancing over toward Willow she just took a quick glance and the over to the witch that seemed to be a little bit of a threat to Willow in her mind.

Dawn didn't know much about her anyways so of course she would judge her. She seemed to be quite close to Angel so maybe she was a very close friend almost too close. Perhaps another relationship of his since he didn't seem to have one with Buffy anymore. Biting her bottom lip rather hard she planted a hand under her chin and just sat there quietly minding her own business

Spike wasn't excited as the rest of the group as they were flying through the land of impossible dreams. This highway would last a long while, and he didnt' want to bother his eyes on fake illusions, tempting little fireflies, nothing of the sort for him. His main concern was on Buffy. To her troops she seemed ready to take on the world, but right now, well, it looked like she was ready to take on a bunch of vampires, with no scythe or stake. The thoughts of her mother must be eating her alive, he thought, same thoughts ran through my head when I turned my mother. It is just, he mused, you never know that when things are returned to you, they aren't as you first rememebered them in the first place.

Spike could hear her pulse racing, her heart pounding in desperation to be heard, she was like a volcano ready to blow. Sneaking an arm around her shoulder he held onto her, letting her rest against him. Words werent' needed now, only the time provided would give them that release they so wanted. Sure he would want nothing better then to have Buffy one more time, but that window of oppurtunity left them as soon as they joined the bus of the dead. Kissing her head softly he looked around at the people he had known for so long. Xander with his one eye from Caleb, well, he dreamt of seeing his dear Anya again, he wanted that for him as well, comedy could only last so long after losing a loved one. Then there was Rupert, the guy was a book of knowledge, yet his loss of Jenny to Angelus hung over his head like a bell, ringing loudly, he would crack soon, he wondered though about what he said, his translation. Willow wanted to see Tara, just as much as the niblet over there, while kennedy, the girl was still a mystery to him. Death was on this bus, it was outside the bus, Sunnydale was the mouth of death, hellmouth and all.

Then there was Angel, good ole bump in the dark, quite a show he did with this bus. They were flying way off the ground, far from humanity, and on some fuel that probably consisted of pixie dust. The girl he had no clue as to what her name was, nor her power, she just sat there trying not to look at the others. He hadn't seen her in his short stay at Wolfram and Hart, and by the way Willow looked at her, she was either a lesbian, or had power of some witchcraft. Turning to Buffy he listened intently.

"She'll be alright," Spike said in what he hoped was a soothing voice, "the niblet over there will come around soon enough. She has thoughts of seeing the dead just as much as the lot of you, probably a bit more. She was planted with thoughts of knowing Joyce for a period of time, I think any little girl at that time would want their mom back. Then of course there is Tara, she sort of respected her, she took a real liking to that girl."

It didn't bother him that she looked at Angel. The guy had moved on, she should be free of his soul ridden body, he had hurt her way too much. Lowering his hand down her back he placed it ont he other side of her waist and just held her there. This was their last comfort, their last safety zone, his fear was slowly riding in his consciousness. Dark things were afoot, any vampire knew that. The land of the dead, how would it react to his presence, his very soul walking and breathing in the good around him. He'd protect Buffy again if he must, and everyone here. When she had died, he had sworn to look after her friends, keep them safe, even the niblet there. The bus buckled a bit, but he took no notice.

"Sure luv, will do that for you," Spike stroked her hair and breathed in her scent. She had such a nice smell to her. Looking at the group, he wondered if they would get what they wished for. To see the dead, to bring them back, it'd be everything...maybe even more. Spike just hoped to keep to himself if that did happen, Buffy was his everything now.

Angel could hear everyone talking, a vampire's hearing was better then most people assumed. While Jocelyn was seated beside him, he could hear her blood rushing, that heart of hers was flying so fast, it could grow wings. He wanted to reassure her, but he was running out of that for himself. This was one of the first transdimensional dips he had made into a highway leading to the dead. Not many heard of this path, and for good reason, should the dead arise, and if it were evil, they were given that original evil itself. Spike himself was getting worried, and Angel stored that away for future jokes.

Feeling the bus shake rapidly he rushed out of his seat and stood near the controls. "Ladies and gentleman, and Giles, we are coming upon some sticky webs. This means we're getting close, how do I know, well, we are coming upon some road up ahead. I suggest you all hold onto the person closest to you, kiss them goodbye, cause...things are going to get...bumpy." Angel hopped into the seat and checked the controls, each were flashing red as the webs began to stick to the vehicle itself. "Switching to manual!"

Angel flipped a switch underneath the glove compartment and the bus was sent violently to the left. Taking reign of the steering wheel he fought for control, the windows cracking a little as he hit some unseen object. Angel grinded his teeth and floored hard on the brakes as he swerved into some unknown passage. A cold wind seemed to howl at the bus and Angel held his soul for a minute, actually his chest, his other hand slipped. This was going to be close, all counted on him getting their alive, and the pun was, if not, they could sleep here and be with their loved ones. His eyes narrowed as he began to see some defining features up ahead.

*Buffy smiled as Spike slipped an arm around her. His arm felt strong and reassuring around her as she leant against him, grateful for his strength. She felt his lips upon the top of her head, and she grinned as she snuggled up against him. Once the bus arrived at their destination, she doubted there would be time for snuggles, and she wanted to enjoy every moment that she had left with Spike. Despite her worry for the literal unknown road before them, Buffy couldn’t help but smile at the use of Spikes’ word for Dawn. She loved how he referred to her as “the niblet”, though she didn’t truly understand why. She supposed it was because it was a term of endearment, one that suggested that Spike really was a loved member of their family. It made her feel safe and warm and she sighed contently as his hand found her lower back.

She listened to his words, nodding when she needed to, but for now, she stayed quiet. It was like a spell had been cast in the back of the bus, where it was just she and Spike. She shifted slightly so that she was gazing up into his eyes.

~Spike..~ she said quietly. ~ I don’t know whats going to happen once we get there.. I don’t know what lies ahead. But I do know that I love you, and I know that you will have my back. Just.. if anything happens to me.. or if I .. you know.. have to do the whole slaying stuff… look out for Dawn wont you?~

She was shaken from her warm snugly cocoon by the sudden jolting of the bus. Turning her attention to the front of the bus, Buffy watched as Angel rushed to the controls and fought for control. She decided to take him at his word, and reached over to grab a hold of Spikes chin.

~Well, if this is going to be our kiss goodbye, we better make it a good one eh?~ She brought her lips to his, taking his bottom lip in between hers, sucking on it slightly before her lips parted to reveal her soft wet tongue. Kissing him with all the passion she possessed, Buffy tried to lose herself in the kiss, thoughts of her mom wandering the plane of the undead refusing to let go of her imagination.*

Xander smiled when Willow and Kennedy joined him in the faux complaining, it was funny to Xander that even though they were all fully grown adults that they could still be stupid kids. It was like the real old days before Buffy when Willows mom would take Xander along on their family vacations because she felt bad for him and he and Will would sit in the back seat and go ‘are we there yet’ the whole way through the trip, it was like a tradition.

Xander was about to come up with another cliché long bus ride thing that had gotten him to smile, especially when Giles had kinda joined in when Angel took over the driving and the bus went on a wacky ride of it’s own. Xander grabbed the railing in front of him “And you all complained when I drove” he yelled over the screech of tires. This was it, this was how he was gonna die, in a bus accident on a bus that was driven by a vampire with a soul while a slayer and a different vampire necked with each other in the back seat… so anti-climatic.

He thought of one thing as the bus moved, Anya, he knew he’d see her by the end of the day though honestly he didn’t expect to be dead when he did it. He kinda hoped she’d be alive but still. He looked out the window and it all looked so weird, trees melted, colours mixed, it was like LSD on acid, it was messed up major. “Angel, where did you learn to drive? Dodge-em city?” he yelled to the front of the bus, having to get a good ribbing in whole he was still in one living piece. One of Giles books flew through the air and hit Xander in the head, it hurt a hell of a lot “Hey G-man, watch the head I intend to use that” he brought his hand up to his head, there was a definite lump there, so far no good.

He looked out the window once more, everything seemed to have some kind of form, like it was an actual object. Trees weren’t melting, but they didn’t look treelike, for starters they were on fire. There seemed to be a big fire and flame motif going, and he could see crowds of see through people. “Oh we so are not in Kansas anymore, unless Kansas is severely different than it is in those travel brochures”

*Willow laughed to herself as Kennedy joined in with herself and Xander. Even Giles piped up that with his own style of banter, after warning her to only use magick when absoloutely necessary. Nodding and rolling her eyes, she said nothing but gripped the magick book tightly in her hands. She smiled at Kennedy as she quipped about The Wizard of Oz and wondered what she would ask for if she were to meet the Wizard.

~I gotta say babe.. those ruby slippers would come in pretty handy. Not that I would use them to go home of course, being as how “home” was sucked into a giant hell mouth.. but it would be cool to say.. ”There’s no place like… Paris!” and click my heels three times and then voila!~ she giggled at the thought. ~Or .. “There’s no place like.. DISNEYLAND!! I love Disneyland!~

She squeezed Kennedy’s hand and beamed at her.

~One of these days, you and me babe.. we are going to Disneyland! I’ll even buy you a pair of Mickey Mouse ears.~

She trailed off as Giles began to read out a translation about the dimension they had now entered, and a shiver ran down her spine as she gulped. As Giles said it was all rather ominous, Willow glanced back at him.

~And the award for understatement of the year goes to…~

She was interrupted by the sudden jolting of the bus, and turned back to look at the front of the bus. Seeing Angel head to the front and start messing with the controls, Willow took a deep breath as her hand tightened around Kennedy’s. Unable to resist Angels’ invitation to kiss their loved ones goodbye, Willow reached over to kiss Kennedy lovingly on the lips.

Kennedy looked around the bus and noticed everyone lost in their own train of thoughts. She thought of seeing her dead watcher again, appologizing for not being strong enough to save him. It tore her daily that she lived this very day, having not been spotted by those bringers, held back by fear, and her watcher's last words haunted her to her spot. Getting out of New York was the best solution to her being hunted, but no, it didn't stop there. She was still hunted, just by now anything that walked or breathed in the whole world. They were traveling to a place, where they might not return from...they themselves could be dead along with this realm.

Laughing at Willow's humor she couldn't agree more. To go to places they had never been, maybe even somewhere that didn't involve such a grand group of circus performers. She meant that, seeing how she and Willow had hardly any time to snuggle, sleep in bed long, be alone in general. Disneyland was also tempting, they didn't do many couple outings, and she wanted to show off Willow, or Willow could show off her, or they could show off their love. It was a lovely thought just to hold onto. A sudden jolt sent Kennedy's train of thought racing and her eyes widened as the scenery took a sudden change of ghostly images and racing colors.

Taking in a nervous breath she turned her head to look at Willow. Meeting her inviting lips she held on for as long as possible, drinking in her features and squeezing her hand. Pulling away she nodded her head weakly, the bus tires were screaming as Angel fought for control as they went deeper into the land. This was almost like their first trip away from a self destructive Sunnydale, only, they were going super fast and they were being driven along by a vampire with a expired license no doubt.

"I know Red," Kennedy said using that name she found herself saying only once before, and that was before Willow had gone all goddess on her. "We're in this together, I won't leave you, I won't abandon you, I want you for life." Kennedy smiled and as another bump hit she settled into her seat and wished she had something to slay. This was ridiculous, if things took a turn for the worse, this would be much like getting caught with her pants down. Kennedy gave Willow's hand a squeeze and thought about their future. Another bump and wild swing of the tale end of the bus and she let it slide for now.

Things were going to get difficult before they took that second option. Life was on the line and she wished only to be secure in that bed with her lover again back in Wolfram and Hart. She didn't count not going on this trip, cause she would've gone no matter what dangers or words Willow said, but still...those Slayers kept there, well, they'd probably face no harrowing mission or death approaching at all.

Giles read the strange description over again, trying desperately to make sense of it.

For those who here venture be ready for rage

That was the line that confused him, because it could be interpreted so many ways. It could be describing the occupants of the place they were heading to or the nature of the client that Angel was meeting or possibly even what their reaction would be upon arrival, but that seemed a little farfetched by Giles rather high standards. The bus jolted sharply and Giles looked outside, it looked like a painting. He was about to read it over again when the bus jolted sharply again, sending the book flying out of his hands and hitting Xander in the head “Oh sorry Xander” he said before grabbing the seat in front of him for dear life.

The jolting was sharp and as his glasses flew off of his face and landed on the floor with a sound tinkle of breaking glass. “Oh fan-bloody-tastic” he said loudly as the bus rocked and shook sharply, everything had a vague blur to it so Giles knew he’d have difficulty reading anymore of the books… which was rather pointless as the bus was shaking rather violently now and he couldn’t really read even if his glasses were in perfect working order.

When the bus slowed it’s jolting he squinted to look out the window, it seemed to match the pictures in the book he’d read. “Well this is rather interesting I must admit, so do we have any information on that client. Oh Xander that book that hit you is rather important, I need you to turn to page 342 and…” he instantly realised what he was asking and didn’t pause once “…hand the book to Willow so she can translate the rest of the words written on the recado stone in the picture on that page, I believe it’s some form of incantation that will allow us to survive outside of the walls of the bus, if I recall from what I read before my glasses went MIA the atmosphere her is rather bad and without the incantation the only ones who would survive outside of this bus would be Spike and Angel, and I have this rather accurate feeling that there’s a few moe who’d like to go on this trip”

Dawnie nibbled on her bottom lip nervously. She gazed outside and the air seemed to be changing to a dark cloudy color. For a few minutes she felt like she was going nuts herself but then she heard everyone else discussing the topic about the air outside. Her ears seemed to be perked up like a dog the minute she heard you can't go outside because it would be hard to breathe. "Great" she muttered to herself quietly. It wasn't the greatest moment she would have called for a disaster, and it came rather more quickly than she wanted.

Slowly she stood up cringing at the site of Buffy and Spike exchanging saliva at the site of their tongues swinging about in and out of each others mouths. Sticking out her own tongue she shuddered and looked away rolling her eyes. Guess it's that time to say goodbye to the loved ones as she let a soft sigh escape her lips. Dawn couldn't help but think that it was indeed that time. If something happened to Buffy, herself, or anyone else, she couldn't live with herself. If she happened to be the last survivor which wasn't likely; then she wouldn't be able to stand alone in this world.

Buffy hadn't taught her quite everything in this world yet, and she still wanted to learn more from her older sister. Turning her head in the direction of Giles she heard glass fall to the floor and scatter. Slowly she walked over without toppling over Willow and Kennedy as they began to kiss and deeply emotionally talk she bent down and picked up the stray pieces for Giles. "Maybe they shouldn't make these so fragile.." she said shrugging and sat beside Giles on the bus taking his hand placing the glass in his hand carefully and glanced over at Willow winking and giving a light smile.
